Nikki's Quinceanera - The Grand Tour - Plainfield, Burr Ridge and Willowsprings, IL

Strarting on a beautiful Summer day, I went to Nikki's home in Plainfield to start photographying her beautiful quinceanera day. Next to the house was a corn field that provided a great photo opportunity, with amazing clouds that later turned into a storm. Her room was a great girl's room that reminded me of my own bedroom growing up, the closet doors covered on posters of today's teen stars. Back in my day I drooled over Jonny Deep, today, it's Justin Beaver's cute face the reason teens ruin their closet doors. Even though the hunkies have changed, the teen nature hasn't. Nikki was amazing and understanding of my bossing around to organize so many hyper teens and was a trooper when we went to Willowsprings to Ashbary Coffee house where she and her friends gather on weekends. We had a small break during the storm to take some great images there and even though her curls dissapeared due to the constant drizzling, she was game for anything! I begged for another stop accross the street at the Willowsprings train station and all the kids were great helping create more great images at the train station, conviniently locate under a bridge that protected us from the rain. I have to say that it was quite an experience to ride with the entourage in their party bus, I alway wondered what type of music teens listen to now a days, and I realized, it's not Madona or Cindy Lauper like music! In any case, I had a blast and can't wait for the next Quinceanera, victim to my bossyness and camera attack!
