Rosio and Juan, Ashland Florists and Highland Park Community House

On a beautiful Summer day, Rosio and Juan exchanged vows and shared of their joy with all their friends and family with an amazing wedding. I couldn't have asked for a better cuple, they are so kind and in tune with each other, I enjoyed every moment I worked with them. The flowers provided by Ashland florists are some of the best flowers I have ever seen and looked fresh throughout the heat of the day. I had to become a Jack of all trades with these guys, dressing the groom, buttoning the bride's dress, pining all the butoniers, cleaning spots from the groom's suit, I felt so indispensable and happy to go the extra mile to make their wedding perfect. Thank you Rosio and Juan for making me part of your day, I know how important is your photography and how hard you worked to put this wedding together, I hope this is the start of a life long relationship, God bless.

Nicky and Joey, The Seville, Streamwood, IL.

I had the great pleasure of photographying the wedding of Nicole and Joseph on June 12th. The day started pouring but that didn't discourage anybody to get into the wedding mood. I had to get creative to work around the fact that we couldn't go outside for the groomsmen photos so I piled them up on the cauch at the hotel suite with a great result of images. At Nicole's in-laws' home, I use the beautiful light coming through the livingroom's window and Cindy and Bob did not hesitate a moment to let me move furniture to achieve the amazing images I created of Nicole and later on of Nicole and Joseph after the church (it started raining again so we couldn't go on location). The Seville was packed that night with 2 more weddings but it's amazing how well organize they are in taking care of everybody. At the Seville I coudn't resist using their amazing stairway to create some artistic images of Nicole before the party got started, they truly brought the house down! We will be doing an outdoor session in few days before they go on their
honeymoon. Can't wait!

Laura and Frank's Engagement Session. The Baker Hotel

The Hotel Baker in St. Charles is one of my new favorite places to photograph couples, and I couldn't resit going back with Laura and Frank. A beautiful sunny Tuesday, we couldn't have asked for more, the weather was perfect and with no events going on at the hotel, we had the place for ourselves. Thank you so much for the Hotel's management for letting me use again their facilities, I hope to spend a weekend there some day, it's truly amazing place and St. Charles is as charming as it comes. Laura and Frank will be getting married in July and let's hope we have as beautiful day as their engagement. I had a blast, I could've shot there all day really! thank you Laura and Frank, you guys are super, I can't wait for your wedding!

Spring Family Portrait Series at Osaka Japaneese Gardens

A beautiful day in Chicago was the scene for the 2010 family portrait series. The location, Osaka Japaneese Gardens and the Museum of Science and Industry two jewels in Chicago that not many people know about. I wanted to share the before and after photos that I took of two great families that have been my clients for over 5 years. The images shown are as taken and then as they were retouched to create images deserving to be displayed as 30x40 wall portrait at my client's homes. The next portrait series will be fall 2010. Send me an email to reserve your spot!

Nicloe and Joseph at Downers Grove Train Station

I recently did the engagement session of Nicole and Joseph. They will be getting married in June and I can't wait for their wedding. Nicole came to the session with the dress she wore at her bridal shower and I couldn't resist having her white dress against the white floor of the fountain at the train station in Downers Grove that had just been painted. Both were so willing and excited to do anything I suggested and it is reflected in their images. It was rush hour at the train station and photos are fantastic with the trains in the background, although I used more hand signals than anything due to the intense noise! Nicole and Joseph, you were great and I had so much fun, I can't wait for your wedding!
